Itinerary

Day 1

Let the adventure begin: From Svolvaer to Trollfjorden

Kick off our Arctic sailing adventure in Svolvaer, where sails are hoisted as we head to the impressive Trollfjorden, a narrow fjord framed by dramatic cliffs and a highlight of any Lofoten sailing expedition. If luck is on our side, guests may spot magnificent white-tailed sea eagles soaring overhead. Once anchored, we begin our first hike to a panoramic summit overlooking the fjord, where traditional Norwegian saunas and fresh water lakes invite you to relax and unwind. After sundown, we’ll gather for dinner on deck under the stars and a beach bonfire.

Day 2

Skrova, the Hawaii of Lofoten

Today we sail towards Skrova, a small gem known as the “Hawaii of Lofoten” for its white beaches and crystal clear Arctic waters. We’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast on deck while we get closer to the island’s colorful harbor. On land, get ready for an unforgettable Lofoten kayaking tour, paddling trough glassy waters and discovering hidden coves. After returning to the boat, you can enjoy an authentic Arctic fishing experience, or simply enjoy a moment of peace. As night falls, we will head out for a magical midnight sun walk to a panoramic viewpoint, where the golden hour casts a dreamlike glow on the entire island.

Day 3

Henningssvaer and the world’s most scenic soccer field

This morning, we begin our day sailing towards Henningsvaer, one of Norway’s most authentic fishing villages in the Lofoten Islands, wedged between the mountains and the open Arctic sea. After about 3 hours of peaceful navigation, we’ll lace up our boots and hike to the summit of Festvågtinden. From here you can admire the views of the archipelago and its aquamarine bays. Back in town, guests will have time to explore Henningsvaer’s charming streets, colorful fishermen’s cabins, and inspiring art galleries. But be sure not to miss the most scenic soccer field in the world, built right on the Norwegian sea. We’ll wrap up the day with dinner at Fiskekrogen, a renowned fish restaurant, before returning to our cozy boat.

Day 4

Nusfjord, the best preserved fishing village in Northern Norway

After a hearty breakfast on deck, we sail towards Nusfjord, one of the best preserved and more picturesque fishing villages in Northern Norway, famous for its centuries-old cod fishing traditions. As we stroll along its historic wooden piers, we take a moment to sample warm cinnamon buns from the local bakeries. Wandering past rows of classic red rorbuer cabins, you’ll get a true sense of Arctic life. After lunch, we continue our trip towards Reine, the beating heart of the Lofoten Islands. Here you can choose between a walk towards the spectacular Reinebringen under the midnight sun, or a quiet evening exploring the village. Dinner will be served on deck, with views that will leave you speechless.

Day 5

Horseid Beach: a wild paradise

We wake up in Reine, where a short ferry brings us to the trailhead for Horseid Beach, one of the wildest and most remote in the Lofoten Islands. The two-hour trail leads us through rugged mountain passes, green meadows sprinkled with wildflowers, and crystal-clear streams, eventually revealing a long, white sand beach, surrounded by steep cliffs. We set up camp directly on the beach, embracing the Norwegian wilderness. You can gather around a bonfire, join in on fun beach games, and savor a delicious barbecue. This is Arctic camping at its finest!

Day 6

Time to relax!

After a slow and relaxing morning surrounded by the dunes of Horseid Beach, we will start back down the path to Reine. Once there, you will have the freedom to fill up your day: explore the village or hike to Reinebringen if you haven’t already. Later in the afternoon, we will sail to a secret spa tucked along the coastline, where a traditional Norwegian sauna and a Jacuzzi overlook the Arctic sea. We gather for a final celebratory dinner on deck and share our favorite moments from this unforgettable Arctic sailing adventure.

Day 7

Back to our roots: Svolvaer

Our final day at sea is a chance to soak in the spectacular Arctic scenery one last time as we sail back toward Svolvaer. Keep your eyes peeled for some orcas or whales that might join us along the way. Guests who are interested can learn a few sailing tricks, how to tie knots or how to read nautical charts under the guidance of our experienced crew. After 8 to 10 hours, we will finally reach the familiar harbour of Svolvaer, where this incredible Lofoten sailing adventure comes to an end. We’ll say our goodbyes and reflect on our renewed connection with nature.
