Refunds follow these rules:

• Cancellation more than 60 days before departure: deposit is totally refundable.
• 30–59 days before: 50% of the total amount is forfeited.
• Less than 30 days before departure: no refund is given.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations and medical emergencies.

Absolutely! Many solo travelers join our Arctic sailing trips. You can book a single bed or upgrade to a private double cabin for an extra 10,000 NOK on longer trips. Our sailboat is small and social. Expect shared meals, cozy living, and meaningful connections with like-minded adventurers. Day trips include up to 11 people, so you'll never feel alone.

Can I bring a hard-shell suitcase on board?

We kindly ask guests to avoid hard-shell luggage due to limited storage space. Please bring a soft duffel bag and use small soft pouches or packing cubes to help organize your belongings efficiently on the boat.

We sell adventure sailing experiences in the Arctic, not luxury cruises. Our trips are for people who can adapt to life on a sailboat and the raw beauty of nature. Space is limited, and comfort is simple but meaningful. Group sizes range from 6 to 12 guests.

Will I get seasick during the trip?

Some people are more sensitive to motion than others. While we don’t cross open oceans, mild waves are possible. If you want to avoid seasickness, we recommend taking preventative medication the day before departure. Feel free to bring your preferred remedies, just in case.

Yes, don’t worry! After confirming your booking, you’ll receive a detailed packing list in your welcome email. This guide includes all the essentials for sailing and staying comfortable in Arctic weather conditions.

What is the living space like on board the sailboat?

What is the living space like on board your Arctic sailing boat?

Our sailing boat has two levels and is designed to offer both functionality and comfort for small group adventures.

On the lower deck, you’ll find a private cabin with a double bed and a single bed, separated by a door for extra privacy. There’s also a spacious bathroom with a shower, and a cozy salon with a large dining table that transforms into a double bed and an additional single bed.

The upper deck features the kitchen and another seating area, where the table converts into a second double bed. This is where Giorgia (host) and Haakon (captain) sleep.

The two levels are divided by a stairway and a dark curtain, giving guests a sense of separation and privacy. It’s a compact but well-organized space, perfect for life at sea during our Arctic expeditions.

Are pets allowed on board?

Yes! We are a pet-friendly sailing company, and your four-legged friends are welcome aboard. If you plan to bring your dog (or another pet), please contact us in advance so we can make the proper arrangements to ensure everyone's safety and comfort on board. We love animals, but we need to make sure they’ll be happy and safe in the boat’s unique environment.
